Upper Hay Water Assessment Program

In 1997, the Upper Hay Lake Association under then President Rita Votava, applied to the Pollution Control Agency to be included in a Lake Assessment Program. The application was granted and the study was carried out.  The report on the findings is found in a 51 page document that is informative and provides the Association with a data base which we can use as we continue to monitor the lake with our lake sampling program.  The data collected allows us to see trends in the lake.  We will be able to see problems arising before they become out of control.    The Association feels this is one of our most important roles.  You can access the report at:
